My Sight on Flight

Crew

Lavender

Yesterday I had the honor of judging the Ridge Art Association‘s Aviation Exhibition. It was my first time visiting the Winter Haven Municipal Airport and only my second (I think) in Winter Haven. Listening and car-dancing to the “top 105 party songs”  on the drive over set the afternoon’s soundtrack. Photographs, pencil drawings, mixed media, watercolors, a cafe with gigantic pancakes and colorful shiny jets on the airfield—this short road trip held much for the senses. I’ll be returning and scheduling a future Destination Journal in the fall, with two very different environments—Gilbert Field (the airport) and lavender and Lace, a tea room in nearby Lake Alfred.  In the meantime, more details coming soon on the next DJ. It’s a Sensory Tour related to smell at the Gallery at Avalon Island in Orlando, FL on Saturday, June 15.

Today, take a drive to an unknown location. Does the music on your car radio stir any memories? What smells hit you upon arrival? See or feel anything unexpected? Take note in your Destination Journal.

I hardly leave a response, however i did some searching and wound up here My Sight on Flight | Destination Journal.
And I actually do have a couple of questions for you if you do not mind.
Is it simply me or does it seem like a few
of these remarks come across as if they are coming from brain dead individuals?
😛 And, if you are posting at additional online social sites,
I would like to follow everything new you have
to post. Would you list of all of all your shared pages like your linkedin profile, Facebook page or
    twitter feed?

Hello! Thanks for checking-out my blog. Not sure which remarks you’re referring to, something from this blog or remarks in general? I don’t have a Facebook page, but, my twitter feed is DinaJournal and Dina Mack via Linkedin 🙂 Hope you enjoy and thanks again! Dina
