Destination Journal spices it up.

Our last Destination Journal session was a sensory feast. Hosts, Jeffrey and Bryan, graciously let us grace their wonderful store, The Spice and Tea Exchange, on Park Avenue in Winter Park, Florida. Sight, taste, smell, touch, sound–all of these were part of the setting transporting us from Florida to Morocco, Bora Bora, and other distant destinations. Earlier in the evening, Jeffrey peeled oranges to dry and gave us a large bowl of the juicy citrus to smell and savor. We sampled tea, bread, and a luscious dipping sauce. The ocher, and burnt umber colors of the spices inspired beautiful drawings and mixed-media experiments. We sniffed and tasted a variety of spices. Have you ever smelled vinegar, beer, or taken a whiff of worcestershire powder? Perhaps there is a poem to be written about the pleasurable punch of paprika. Wonders await you at The Spice and Tea Exchange.
Next stop, I’ll be leading a private DJ session for an uber-talented local business in November at a beach locale. They’re a really creative group and I’m honored to help them further spice-up their creativity.
So glad you had the chance to spend time with Jeffrey & Bryan in their wonderful store!
